It is produced in the forests of Central and Northern Greece, where our bee colonies are transported hundreds of kilometers from our home apiaries to forage in some of the country’s most pristine natural ecosystems. The bees collect honeydew produced by a diverse range of forest trees and shrubs, resulting in a rich, complex honey that captures the essence of the Greek woodland landscape.
Forests of Central and Northern Greece
Harvested from the plateaus of Central and Northern Greece, at elevations ranging from 500 to 1,000 meters, this honey originates from areas far removed from intensive agriculture and pesticide use, ensuring its certified organic purity. These regions are home to diverse mixed forests composed of chestnut trees, oak trees, linden trees, fir forests, and a rich variety of native shrubs, providing bees with an exceptional range of honeydew and botanical sources.
