Our Organic Oak Honey is harvested from Greece’s ancient oak forests, including the renowned Forest of Foloi in Ilia, one of the largest and most beautiful broadleaf oak forests in Europe. Protected under the Natura 2000 network, these pristine woodlands provide an unspoiled environment, free from human interference and pollution. Although oak forests are widespread throughout Greece, the unique conditions required for oak honey production make its harvest both challenging and relatively rare, contributing to its exceptional value and distinctive character.

Harvested from a plateau at an average altitude of 600–700 meters, where the Hungarian Oak (Quercus frainetto) is the dominant tree species.
